Things to Do and Places to Go in Jersey City
Summertime is for getting out of your apartment and exploring Jersey City, NJ! Get to know your city by playing tourist and visiting some of these great landmarks not too far from The Cliffs this month.
White Eagle Hall
If you’re a fan of live music, this is the venue to go to hear it! This newly restored and renovated historic theater is located in the middle of the nightlife scene of Downtown Jersey City. It presents live music, theater, comedy, dance, film, and family shows while serving food and drinks. It’s also the perfect venue for weddings, receptions, and private parties. SeaGlass Carousel at The Battery
This aquarium-themed carousel is “an immersive experience of movement, music, and light” that any child or adult will appreciate. For just five dollars, riders can immerse themselves in this “convergence of art and entertainment” at Battery Park — without even a center pole! Experience it for yourself this summer, and be sure to check out SeaGlass Carousel’s Facebook page to stay up-to-date on events. Last year they even held a live music festival in June. Catch it this year!
New Jersey Colgate Clock
Any lover of clocks, Colgate, or the Manhattan skyline will appreciate this area. Walk along the river and appreciate the scenic views, or check it out from One World Trade Center for a view of the clock while touring another iconic landmark for a really memorable trip.
